For over two thousand years, Christians have seriously debated the true meaning of Biblical prophecy. Various interpretations have waxed and waned in popularity throughout the ages, but never has a single theory gained universal acceptance. Perhaps the reason for this lack of agreement is that the true meaning of Biblical prophecy has been "closed up and sealed till the time of the end." (Daniel 12:8-10)
If this be the case, and if it be true that we are currently living during the last days, then God just may have recently unsealed the meaning of prophetic scripture. And, for the first time in history, it may be possible for Christians to correctly understand the mysteries of Biblical prophecy. In fact, the key to unlocking these mysteries may well be the realization that the Book of Revelation contains not one but seven chronological accounts of the end times. By identifying these seven accounts and harmonizing them into a single detailed picture of the end times, we may finally gain the very understanding of Biblical prophecy that God has deliberately kept hidden for millennia.
This book illustrates how this harmonization process may be accomplished and what the resulting Harmony predicts. It also confirms many of the Harmony’s predictions by comparing them with other Biblical prophecies, with world history, and with current events. Of course, only the future can demonstrate conclusively whether or not the rest of the Harmony’s predictions are true. But the evidence to date suggests that the Harmony of Revelation really is the way God intends for Biblical prophecy to be interpreted by Christians living during the last days.
In any case, the predictions of the Harmony are so detailed, so fascinating, and so different from any other theory of eschatology proposed in the past that they surely warrant some degree of consideration. The purpose of this book is to provide the information needed for that consideration.
In writing this book, I have tried to address the needs of as many readers as possible, regardless of their backgrounds and interests. I have tried to use a quick-flowing, informal writing style to hold the attention of the curious reader. I have tried to provide enough footnotes to assist the novice in understanding unfamiliar terms. And I have tried to include appropriate appendices at the back of the book to supply the details and the rigor that more serious students may demand.
